The study films with eye-tracking glasses that record at an uneven rate, and the gaze data points at exact frame times. A plain re-encode evens the timing out, moving every gaze point to the wrong frame. Each run is set to copy the source's frame times, video format and colour settings, so the anonymised file can replace the original.
